Terms of Service
By booking a ride with RIDNETAXI LIMITED you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they set out what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
1. About us
RIDNETAXI LIMITED is a company registered in Ireland and licensed for passenger transport work. Our office is in Raphoe, County Donegal.
2. Booking a ride and acceptance

By using our booking app or any of the channels above, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy in full. When booking through our app, you also accept the terms of the platform provider (Ondelight) that apply to the app itself.
A booking is confirmed only when we reply with driver and vehicle details. Until then, no contract exists between us. We may decline a booking — for safety, capacity, legal or operational reasons — without having to give a detailed reason.
3. Pricing and payment
Fares are based on standard Irish taxi rates (from approximately €1.50 per kilometre), plus any waiting time, late-night or long-distance surcharges that may apply. For fixed-fare trips such as airport transfers, the agreed price will be confirmed to you before pickup and will not change for that confirmed trip.
We may adjust our fares, surcharges and platform fees from time to time based on demand, costs, regulatory requirements and other operational factors. Any change applies only to bookings made after the new price comes into force — it will not change the price of a trip you have already booked and we have confirmed.
Payment is by card or cash on board, or in-app where supported by our booking platform. You agree to pay the final fare in full at the end of the trip.
4. Cancellations and no-shows
- You can cancel free of charge up to 30 minutes before pickup.
- Later cancellations or no-shows may be charged at the minimum trip fare.
- For booked airport transfers, please cancel at least 12 hours in advance where possible.
5. Conduct
We are responsible for the safety of every passenger and driver. We may refuse service or end a trip early if a passenger is unsafe, abusive, intoxicated beyond safe travel or causing damage to the vehicle. Any damage caused to a vehicle will be charged at cost.
6. Lost property
We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle, but we will make reasonable efforts to find and return them. Please contact us as soon as possible if you have left something behind.
7. Liability
We are insured for public passenger work in Ireland. Our liability is limited to what is required by Irish law. Nothing in these terms removes any consumer right you have under Irish or EU law that cannot be excluded.
8. Complaints
Email hello@ridnetaxi.ie. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 2 business days and respond fully within 10 business days.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be settled in the Irish courts.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example to reflect changes in our service, our fares, or applicable law. The version that applies to your trip is the one published on this page at the time we confirm your booking.
For changes that materially affect riders (such as a fare increase or new surcharge), we will post the update on this page and refresh the "Last updated" date. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will also give advance notice through our usual channels (e.g. our booking app or website notice). If you do not agree with a change, you can simply stop using our service.
